
How a Custom Ticket Dispenser Solution Improved Public Transit Around Paris
Public transportation in the greater Paris area is always in motion – and that means high demands on infrastructure and technology. A leading French provider of passenger management solutions was looking for a powerful yet low-maintenance ticket dispenser system to meet the challenges of daily commuter traffic.
The requirements were clear: a robust solution capable of integrating external hardware like a 125 kHz antenna, delivering high print speed, and supporting secure RFID card management and paper ticket dispensing. While the main application was for regional train service, the system also needed to be flexible enough for use in parking management, access control, and automated ticketing systems – including stadiums, airports, museums, and hospitals.
Based on our proven 901 and 910 dispensers, we developed a customized solution tailored to these needs. Both systems were enhanced to support external components such as RFID readers, card and paper dispensers, and fill level sensors. These sensors enable predictive maintenance, reducing downtime and cutting operational costs.
Another key feature: an integrated communication interface that allows centralized control of multiple dispensers – ideal for high-traffic environments. Whether used as a public transit ticket dispenser, RFID card dispenser, parking ticket machine, or part of a smart parking solution, this system offers exceptional flexibility and reliability.
