Security HMI Platform

Our Security HMI platform focuses on protecting data and hardware within Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs). This includes secure data processing and safeguarding components on a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA).

For data-sensitive applications, we offer secure solutions. These include our Secure Cover drill protection, which protects the components on a PCB from physical attacks. Our solutions support certification under the PCI (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) Level 1-4 and BSI (German Federal Office for Information Security) regulations. 

Software encryption plays a decisive role, particularly in the area of payment applications, both for open-loop and closed-loop payment processes. For haptic-based HMI systems, switching security is of great importance. Redundant switching systems can be used here to fulfil the necessary security requirements. 

Our secure HMI systems are used in payment (POS/mPOS), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), and electronic health card terminals. We offer customizable security levels tailored to each application.

High level of safety standards

One of our success stories is the development of a comprehensive physical security concept for a company in the USA. The system had to fulfil an extremely high security standard and was certified according to PCI and FIPS Level-4. The area of application is an HSM system. The concept enabled our customer to develop a significantly more powerful product without compromising on security features.
