Optical Encoder Rotary 585

The optical encoder 585 with an exceptional lifetime is another member of the switch family from ddm hopt+schuler. A new design increases the lifetime up to 500,000 cycles when turning and 1 million actuations when pushing. With a torque of 3 Ncm and actuation forces of 8-12 N for the push switch, the encoder is perfect for demanding applications in the fields of industrial control and measuring as well as testing equipment.

 

Product Information

Untiringly reliable, the 585 optical incremental encoder from ddm hopt+schuler is available with 20 switching positions. The standard axis is made of stainless steel so that when the switch is pressed, the force is absorbed by the housing, not by the circuit board. The housing is made of nickel-plated die-cast zinc. Other designs or materials are also possible. No radial play in the latching position underlines the high quality of the design.
