Miniature Encoder 488

The comparatively small design of the miniature rotary encoder 488 from ddm hopt+schuler, was especially designed for professional mobile radio in the field of security and communication. As a mechanical encoder with a tiny cubic housing 8 x 8 x 8 mm, it represents the solution for all applications which require high rotating torque and IP67 sealing in a miniature housing.

The encoder 488 from ddm hopt+schuler, is available as version with incremental or gray code. It can be equipped with different operating forces for the turn and push function. Additionally, you can choose from different materials for the housing. It can be designed as an incremental or absolute encoder.
