Engineers in the air!
In october our engineering team took a trip to the zipline arena in the black forest national park. After being equipped with the right gear and a safety instruction the team was ready to hit the park.
After arriving in the park, everything was focused around speed, fun and the moment of lifting off into the air. A total of seven ziplines gave our colleagues big adrenaline rushes, while they were gliding over valleys. But not only the time in the air was exciting, but also getting to the ziplines. The team was able to hike from line to line while walking through the beatiful valleys of the black forest.
Facts of the day:
- The longest nature zipline in Germany: Height 83m and a length 570m
- Total length: 1,5 km
- The feeling of flying
- Adrenaline rush
- Some sore muscles on the next day
"It was an energetic and thrilling adventure for all of us. The positive side effect off events like this, is strengthening our team spirit within our team." Michael Storz, department head.
