Design engineer (m/f/d) for the encoder/miniature switch product area

Job description
The Task
You will be responsible for series production support in the encoder/miniature switch product area. This area of responsibility includes the following activities:
- Creating and maintaining technical drawings, specifications and documentation
- Creation and maintenance of master data (article master and parts lists)
- Technical support and product responsibility for defined switch product ranges (Product care)
- Project lead for the design of customer-specific adaptations
- Participation in lean production and lean development
- Creating and processing changes to the supported switch product ranges
- Creation of analyses, evaluations, FEM simulations, Moldflow, FMEA etc.

The Requirements
You have completed a technical apprenticeship or degree and have already gained some professional experience.
You also have the following skills and knowledge:
- Confident handling of a CAD program (desirable Autodesk Inventor and Vault)
- Experience and good knowledge of metal and plastics processing
- Knowledge of methods: MTM, Moldflow, FMEA, project management
- Independent and reliable way of working
- Very good MS Office skills and good knowledge of an ERP system
- Good language skills in English
